"A Hundred Solitudes” is a poetic dance work about the boundaries of human with the world, where solitude is the basic state of our own bodily existence. The choreography explores the transition between the being a personality and becoming a part of society, searching for authenticity in solitude and anonymity in a group. The starting point of the creative process was G. G. Marquez's novel "One Hundred Years of Solitude" and the magical realism approach in literature. This work moves away from abstract movement, pure constructive concepts or realistic plots, leaning more towards characters, intuition and chaos.
“I created the first version of “A Hundred Solitudes” in 2015 as my bachelor’s performance in choreography. Ten years later, I am still preoccupied with the idea of solitude and the boundaries between our bodies and the world. In reviving this work, I perceive solitude as an authentic state in which we can celebrate all the small, strange things and actions we indulge in when we are completely alone. And when we, all authentic people, come together, we can become a crowd and take refuge in anonymity together.”

Tuvākā izrāde - 19/06/2026 Sēļu muižā, festivālā "Ražas svētki".
“Simts vientulības” ir poētiska izrāde par cilvēka robežām ar pasauli, kurā vientulība ir ķermeniskās eksistences pamatstāvoklis. Darba horeogrāfija pēta pāreju starp personības būtību un kļūšanu par sabiedrības daļu, meklējot autentiskumu vientulībā un anonimitāti grupā. Radošā procesa iedvesmas avots bija Gabriela Garsijas Markesa romāns “Simts vientulības gadi” un maģiskais reālisms literatūrā. Horeogrāfija veidota, meklējot cilvēcisko caur tēliem, intuīciju un haosu, dodoties nezināmajā.
"Pirmā versija "Simts vientulībām" tika radīta 2015. gadā kā diplomdarbs bakalaura grāda iegūšanai horeogrāfijā. Desmit gadus vēlāk mani joprojām nodarbina vientulības ideja un mūsu ķermeņu robežas ar pasauli. Atjaunojot un pārstrādājot šo darbu, es vientulību uztveru kā autentisku stāvokli, kurā varam svinēt visas mazās, dīvainās lietas un darbības, kam nododamies esot pilnīgā vienatnē. Un, kad mēs, visi autentiskie cilvēki, sanākam kopā, mēs varam kļūt par masu un kopā patverties anonimitātē.”
