Contemporary dance performance TWONESS is about a Woman becoming a mother and her attempts to embrace two new roles  - Mother and Non Mother. Choreographers Rūta Pūce and Anna Novikova used their experience of being dance artists and mothers as the main dramaturgical tool. The collaboration between Anna Novikova and Ruta Pūce is called MANAMAMMADEJO (my mom dances), they continue to explore the coexistence of the roles of mother and dance artist.

TWONESS ​won the Dance Award 2017-2019 in the category "Contemporary dance performance" and Anna Novikova for the dancing in TWONESS as "Contemporary dance dancer". In 2019 performance TWONESS participated in the pitch presentation of the Baltic Dance platform in Vilnius. In 2020 TWONESS got into the "40 winks" of Springback Magazine. In 2025 TWONESS was the opening show for the Dance House programme in the contemporary art centre "Kurtuve" (Valmiera, Latvia) during the festival "Homo Novus".
